Feel calmer, more grounded and more in charge of your health before the holiday chaos begins.
All it takes is 5 minutes a day for 10 days. Here's what to expect.
Eat well. Exercise. Get enough sleep. Manage your stress. Simple, right?
It's trying to do all of that when you're already running on fumes.
What if, before you tried to control your food, your weight or your holiday schedule, you learned how to better support the system underneath all of it? That's what we're doing for 10 days.
✦ Regulate Before You Celebrate is a 10-day nervous system-nutrition challenge created for women in perimenopause and menopause.
✦ Together, we'll explore simple ways to support your nervous system through breath, sleep, food, movement, recovery, boundaries and more—and connect the dots between chronic stress and your metabolism, digestion, appetite, energy and weight.
✦ This is for YOU if your body suddenly seems to have changed the rules, all the old things you used to do no longer work, you're tired and stressed, your body doesn't feel like it belongs to you and you want to enter the holidays feeling grounded, not depleted.
✦ Each day's practice takes five minutes or less. That's it!
✦ Because the last thing your nervous system needs is another damn wellness program stressing you out.
I'm a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist, and after years of helping women improve their nutrition and metabolic health, I've become convinced that one of the most overlooked pieces of the stubborn weight and low energy puzzle is nervous system regulation.
Because here's what so many of us do: we run on fumes. We push through exhaustion, stress, crappy sleep, packed schedules and everyone else's needs—sometimes for years—until we've run our bodies ragged.
And then we get frustrated when our bodies don't work the way they used to.
I know because I've been there, too.
I've known what to eat. I've known how to exercise. I've known all the things I was “supposed” to do for my health. (I am a dietitian!) But knowing what to do isn't the same as having the capacity to do it. And sometimes, doing more isn't what our bodies need.
That's why my work has expanded beyond simply asking, “What are you eating?” I'm also asking: “What is your body experiencing—and what does it need to feel supported?”
Because I don't believe your body needs more punishment, restriction or control.
I believe it needs better support.
And that's exactly where we're starting together.
No detox. No restriction. No perfection required.
